Gosh where doI begin! Let's begin with a contradiction. Paradox if you will. In my Home page/section I said that a REAL MACHO MAN is one who balances his 5Bs (Brains, Brawn, Bran, Bonds, Believe)! My profession (psychotherapy/psychology) indeed proclaims this, however, BELIEVE is my favorite B. It is my subjective belief that OBJECTIVELY this "B" (Believe) is the gas that propels the rest of the other "Bs" - and this is an OBJECTIVE TRUTH! HA!!

What is this "B" about?!

Whether you know it or not, whether you want to accept it or not, we all have a SOUL!

• BRAINS speaks of exercising your MIND!
• BRAWN speaks of exercising your BODY!
• BELIEVE is exercising your SOUL, one's SPIRIT!

Even atheist's have some sort of moral compass. Think about it gents, if Captain Jack Sparrow and his scalawag buddies had "THE CODE" to guide them on their amusingly mischievous rather than harmful ways, then so do we! The question is:

• "Is my way healthy!"

elieve is how we strengthen our soul with that Force, with the Universe. We all believe. Now there are many God's out there. Muslims, Buddhism, Atheists, Sikhs, Hindus, etc. I have been granted the opportunity to explore various of these religions, "ways of life," etc. It all began when I became an atheist at the age of 20 or 21. Immediately before I went to India I left the religion that I was born into (Roman Catholicism). Upon landing there, it was an atheist's, or better said, an anti-Catholic/Christian's paradise because Christianity was the MAJOR minority (approximately 1.9% of the entire Indian population when I was there).

If you've been to India you can't go there without noticing the aura of spirituality as well as religiosity. You can't escape it! My soul was yearning, long for something. It was there that I coined the phrase:

I was longing and it wasn't long before my soul began to delve into the varying religious and spiritual passions of India. I explored them all! All, except for Christianity! Especially, Catholicism! YUK Catholicism! 

What do you believe in NOw, Spirit?

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come.

AAAAAAAAMEN!!!!

I am a Catholic by choice. It is an informed decision on my part after a rigorous search and, in every sense of the phrase, AGAINST MY WILL!
